At Play ‘N’ Fun Daycare, our Infant Care program welcomes children 12 to 18 months. We provide warm, nurturing care while supporting growth in language, motor, emotional, and sensory skills at each child’s pace. Babies enjoy play, interactive toys, outdoor stroller walks (weather permitting), and age‑appropriate daily activities. We also provide one nutritious meal and two snacks, with options for families to bring their own milk or nut‑free food if needed.

At Play ‘N’ Fun Daycare, our Preschool Program nurtures young learners who are beginning to explore the world more independently. Teachers design activities around children’s interests, encouraging creativity, cooperation, and discovery in a safe setting.

Out of School Care

Dolphin Room

Our Out of School Care Program welcomes children from kindergarten through grade 6, offering a safe and engaging environment before and after classes. Educators foster leadership, responsibility, and self-discovery by balancing structured activities with child-led exploration.

  • For school-age children (Grade 1–Grade 6)

  • Transportation supported through Yellow Bus, school vans, or parent drop‑off

  • Emphasis on responsibility, communication, and leadership skills

What are your hours of operation?

Play’N’ Fun Daycare is open Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. We are closed on statutory holidays.

What ages of children do you accept?

We provide care for children 12 months to 12 years old, including infants, toddlers, preschool, kindergarten, and out-of-school care programs.

Do you provide meals and snacks?

Yes. We provide nutritious breakfast, lunch, and two snacks daily. Our menu follows the Canada Food Guide and includes fresh, balanced meals. We accommodate allergies, vegetarian diets, and gluten-free needs.

What qualifications do your staff have?

All educators at Play’N’ Fun Daycare are trained in Early Childhood Education (ECE) and hold valid First Aid and CPR certifications. Staff members also complete background checks and participate in ongoing professional development to provide the best care possible.

What is your child-to-staff ratio?

We meet or exceed Alberta’s licensing requirements for child-to-staff ratios to ensure that children receive attentive and quality care.

How do you handle allergies and special dietary needs?

We are a nut-free facility. Parents are asked to share allergy and dietary information upon enrollment. Our kitchen staff and educators work closely with families to create safe meal plans for each child.

How do you communicate with parents about their child’s day?
We provide daily reports that include meals, naps, activities, and updates. Parents may also communicate directly with teachers at drop-off and pick-up, and we send important notices via email and posted reminders.
What curriculum or learning approach do you follow?
Our program is play-based with a balance of structured learning and free exploration. Activities include literacy, numeracy, arts and crafts, music, science, outdoor play, and social development. We also organize special events and field trips throughout the year to enhance learning experiences.
Do you provide transportation?
Yes, Play’N’ Fun Daycare provides transportation to and from nearby schools for children in kindergarten and school-age programs. Parents must complete a transportation agreement form to enroll their child in this service.
How do you ensure the safety of the children?
Safety is our top priority. Our daycare has secure entry systems, childproof classrooms, regular fire and emergency drills, and strict supervision policies. Staff are trained in first aid, emergency preparedness, and child protection.
